  1. Thank you madam for sharing this article on 21st century skills for students. I find this article on 21st century skills a highly informative and truly enriching the teaching- learning scenarios in the classroom. In my tertiary level language, culture and society classes. 21st century children need to re-connect with nature.
There are 13 21st century skills for students categorised under three heads
    1. Learning skills
    2.Literacy skills
    3. Life skills
Educators and workforce experts alike often warn that our children need improved 21st century skills. Without these skills, they will not be able to successfully participate in the global economy.
It is necessary to be able to collaborate in a group and work as a team to develope critical thinking skills, to slove problems, to communicate effectively and have good writing skill to express themselves. These are a few skills i feel a student should have accomplished by the time they finish middle school.
    Thank you

    1. yes the article is highly informative and will definitely help us to enrich our classroom process. this article focused on students of middle school and i believe that not only by the end of middle school but students at each level should be accomplished with these skills. so we need to plan our lesson as per blooms taxonomy and focus on Inquiry process and project for learning.
      thanks

  4. thank you madam for sharing the resource on 21st century skills.
the resource defined each skill like learning skill, literary skills and life skills along with its sub skills in detail.
the learning skill are mainly based on cognitive domain of Blooms Taxonomy. the critical thinking says about the first five levels of cognitive domain like defining, describing, classifying, applying, analyzing, evaluating etc whereas creative thinking focuses on last level of blooms domain i.e. creation. The learning happens in a better way in collaboration and is clearly visible if communicated proporly. this article said about middle school but all the skills are need to be developed in the students as per their level at each stage starting from primary to university level.
Again for learning there is so many sources among which for todays world the best source for information is media and technology which can connect the students to each corner of the world and can gibe them real life experience.
learning happens in a better way in collaboration with others.it needs the life skill to be developed and acquire the characteristics which will help the students to take responsibility for their learning as well as their peers.
so we can say that learning is not only gaining some knowledge rather it is to acquire some skills and through the skills learn more and more.

    With regards
