Dear Friends
National Initiatives for School Heads' and Teachers' Holistic Advancement ( NISTHA), a capacity build up programme for improving quality of school education through integrated teacher training aims to build competencies among all the teachers and headteachers at elementary level. The programme consists of 16 modules.Let us start reading and discussing on each module. The first module is on Curriculum, learner-centred Pedagogy, learning outcomes and inclusive education. You make take your own time ( one week is sufficient, I think) and post your constructive feedback.
Happy reading
Best wishes

Learning outcome in different subject for all students.
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the elementary curriculum is shifted from content based to outcome based. So, exploring pedagogic process for attainment of LO is important
DeleteThank you madam for sharing NISHTHA module on curriculum, LO and Inclusive education. As we know NISTHA is the world largest teacher training program. It is a capacity building program for improving quality of school education through integrated teacher training. Again thanks to you madam for giving us one week time for reading this module vividly. Because this module contains so many important points relating to LOs, curriculum, pedagogical processes for which some time is really needed.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely go through this module for giving my feedback .thank you
I like this quote on the first page of this module -A teacher can never truly teach unless he is still learning himself.Let us read the module with comprehension and we will discuss one module each in our next PLC discussion.
ReplyDeleteThank you madam for sharing this NISTHA module. This module gives a detail explanation about the NCF-2005 including its history. It also focused on transaction of syllabus. It helps to understand the linkage between curriculum, syllabus, texbook & learning outcomes. As we all know learning outcomes mostly focused on pedagogical process so to achieve different grade wise competencies teacher need to provide learning opportunities to all students and ensure their participation in teaching learning process. In this regard the different types of skills, activities teacher need to adopt and the role of teacher in an inclusive classroom was clearly mentioned in this module.I mostly like the discussion points of this module as it reflects on practical situation of class and school.Thank you again...
